Sheila Buck, who had a ticket to Trump's rally in Tulsa, was arrested for obstruction after refusing to leave the rally.

Donald Trump is making sure his rally in Tulsa, Oklahoma goes down without interruptions as he promised on Twitter. As protests erupt across the country in the wake of the recent murders of Breonna Taylor, George Floyd, Rayshard Brooks, and many others who were killed at the hands of the police, Trump initially planned to host a rally in Tulsa on Juneteenth. He pushed it back by a day but even still, he was met by peaceful protesters who have since been hauled off by police.

Sheila Buck, a woman wearing an "I Can't Breathe" shirt who bought a ticket to the Trump rally, was protesting from inside by simply sitting on the ground. Police requested that she leaves but she refused which is when they picked her up and arrested her. She and the police officers reportedly had an eight-minute standoff before they cuffed her.

"This morning at 11:30 am Tulsa Police were requested by Trump Campaign Staff to remove an individual from the secure area of the rally," a spokesperson for the department said. They said that they asked her several times to leave and was "escorted out of the area and transported to booking for obstruction." It should be noted that an MSNBC reported who was on the scene said that she wasn't obstructing access to the event.

"For clarification, the arrestee had passed through the metal detector area to the most secure area of the event accessible only to ticket holders. Whether she had a ticket or not for the event is not a contributing factor for the Tulsa Police in making the arrest. Officers at the location, particularly in the “Sterile” area, will remove individuals only at the direction of Campaign Staff," they added.
