Zion Williamson is currently being sued by his former marketing agent Gina Ford and the proceedings have gotten kind of ugly. Ford wants Williamson to admit that he took bribes to attend Duke and wear Nike shoes. So far, a judge has ruled in Zion's favor although Ford is continuing her pursuit. For instance, now she is trying to get the NCAA involved. However, her efforts took a weird turn this week as she sent a subpoena to the wrong person.
The summons was supposed to go the NCAA's Mr. Kosek although instead, it went to a dentist in South Bend, Indiana with the exact same name.

“I tried to call Dr. Kosek at his office. Kelly, one of his receptionists, called back and said he was seeing patients but was rather amused — and confused — about how her kindly boss, who’s known for his ‘smile and warm demeanor,’ according to the DK Dental website, might get drawn into this whole thing," Dan O'Neil of The Athletic wrote. “Unless Zion got a free cleaning or perhaps a molar removal, I’m not sure why you would send the subpoena to the good dentist."
This ridiculous mix up certainly won't be helping Ford's case, especially with the publicity it created.
Stay tuned for more updates on this case as we will be sure to bring them to you.
