Last night, industry heavy-hitters, tastemakers and writers packed into a room in NYC's Jungle City Studios to get a sneak peek at Kid Ink's upcoming album Full Speed, due out February 3rd via RCA. Shaheem Reid hosted, and star producer Vinylz made a surprise appearance. HNHH was there to take some pics and get the scoop on the sophomore project. Check out our snaps in the gallery above.
As we've already seen the tracklist and heard five songs from Full Speed, there are ten tracks yet to be heard by the public. Of these, we'd call the DeJ Loaf-featuring "Be Real" the highlight, with the Detroit MC delivering a catchy hook that's almost guaranteed to take off on radio. He's already released two singles, but Ink said he'd like to keep dropping more, and "Be Real" seems likely to get the nod.
Among other great guest appearances from Young Thug, Trey Songz, Migos and more, expect bigger production and less of a distinct West Coast sound than My Own Lane.
Kid Ink is branching out.
