Juvenile has returned to the label he once called home. The veteran Lousiana, New Orleans rapper first signed to Cash Money back in 1997, when he released his second album Solja Rags. His history with Cash Money gets a bit confusing, but after releasing Juve The Great in 2003 he left the label. He eventually signed to Atlantic in 2005.
Juvie's last album, The Fundamentals, was released via Rap-A-Lot Records, but now Juvenile tells MTV News that he's returned, yet again, to Birdman's roster. He doesn't plan on leaving either. "I’m not going nowhere. I plan on retiring here," he told MTV News, after revealing he inked a contract with Cash Money a few days back.
Birdman also spoke on the former Hot Boys' return, saying, "I just feel like the time is right. We had him in the studio, and I feel like he has the right records. We got him with young London [On Da Track], who probably one of the best producers in the game right now. I know with the platform I have, he can be bigger than he was before."
London On Da Track is reportedly producing Juvenile's entire next album. Is this a good move for the rapper?
