J. Cole's "Snow On Tha Bluff" has sparked a blizzard of its own, prompting Dreamville co-founder Ibrahim H to weigh in.

Following the release of J. Cole's latest single "Snow On Tha Bluff," an indirect response to Noname, many have been quick to react with anger, frustration, or flippancy toward the Dreamville rapper. Artists like Chance The Rapper and Earl Sweatshirt have spoken out against Cole's decision to release the track, with the former going so far as to accuse Cole of gaslighting. Still, Cole stood firmly by his work, taking to Twitter to double down while showing Noname love in the process.

Some of the backlash has gotten so vocal that one fan hit up Dreamville's Ibrahim H with a warning that Cole was under attack, eliciting a response from the label co-founder. "He's not under attack lol some people disagree with his message, or disagree with how he went about it or just don't like him already and I respect that," he writes. "I know what the intention of his message was and I agree with him, I think some people see it differently and that's fine."

"His message might of been taken the wrong way by some or misunderstood by some but that's what happen with Art, everyone going to decipher it and connect with it differently," he continues. "Which I don't see a problem with." Clearly, Ib remains loyal to his friend's cause, making it clear that he stands beside Cole regardless of the brewing storm. Who would have thought that J. Cole was planning on, while not exactly breaking, at the very least denting the internet today?
