A few days ago, Eminem surprised the masses by sharing an updated list of his personal GOAT picks, a stacked round-up that included Lil Wayne, 2Pac, Royce Da 5'9", Jay-Z, Redman, Treach, Kool G. Rap, Notorious B.I.G, KXNG Crooked, LL Cool J, Nas, Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, Joyner Lucas, Andre 3000, Rakim, and Big Daddy Kane.

As you can see, two members of Slaughterhouse are represented in Crook and Royce, though many were quick to note the absence of Joell Ortiz. Those familiar with the quartet are well aware of Ortiz's acumen, a skillset further emphasized on his brand new H.A.R.D project, an album that found him reunited with KXNG Crooked. Not to mention his guest verse on Eminem's "I Will," during which he became the first rapper in recorded history to reference the film A Fish Called Wanda.
In any case, there were some who felt that Ortiz was snubbed from Em's list, flooding the rapper's DMs and timeline with messages of support. It got so heavy that Ortiz himself took a moment to address the masses, kindly asking that fans abstain from speaking on the topic. "Please stop telling me that Eminem left me off his G.O.A.T. rappers list," writes Ortiz, via IG. "That man is 100% entitled to his opinion. That's one hell of a list! If I constructed a list, he'd be on mine alongside a few of those gentlemen on his list. Love is love."
Much respect to Joell Ortiz for carrying himself with integrity, as well as remaining an absolutely deadly force on the microphone time and again. Go stream H.A.R.D right now.
