With Eternal Atake, Lil Uzi Vert became one of the most in-demand artists of this year. Each song from the album (and the subsequent deluxe edition) ended up charting on the Billboard Hot 100, proving his influence and impact in the rap game.
His biggest song to date, "XO Tour Llif3," is still celebrated on a daily basis. Uzi attempted to re-create the magic on "P2" but the formula did not result in long-lasting success.
When a fan praised the original record, the enigmatic talent claimed that he had just outdone himself in the studio, making a song that hits even harder.
"I just made one that’s bigger I swear," wrote Uzi on Twitter. He continued by saying that he feels as though he's in a zone right now, making some of the best music in his life.
"It’s like I’m in that zone again never thought I would touch this energy again thank you higher being," he said in a follow-up tweet.
Hopefully, this isn't just cap. Uzi expressed frustration at the BET Awards after it was revealed that he was not nominated for anything at the upcoming ceremony. Perhaps he channeled his emotions into the creation of a few classics.
