IDK announces his upcoming album "IDK & Friends 2," taking to Instagram to share the pixelated artwork.

IDK is an exciting artist to watch, as he has managed to stay true to himself without sacrificing his sound or deviating from his gameplan. Placing equal importance on lyricism, flow, and beat selection, the rapper has become one of the game's most adventurous voices. Fans already know what's in store when he lines up a project, which is to say, the unpredictable.

And while you'd think such an experimental rapper would prefer to act as a lone wolf, IDK has been known to celebrate his social circle on occasion. In 2018, he released IDK & Friends, a seven-track effort that featured collaborations with Denzel Curry, Wale, Carnage, Maxo Kream, Rico Nasty, Q Da Fool, and Domo Genesis. While not quite as dense as his solo output, it provided an outlet for IDK to have some fun with the homies, a quality reflected in the music itself. Now, he's looking to double up on the movement, taking to Instagram to announce the imminent arrival of IDK & Friends 2.

Though he neglected to share a tracklist or release date, it's clear that IDK is gearing up to drop the new project soon. Lest we forget, albums tend to arrive with such short notice these days that it wouldn't be surprising to see this one landing on Friday. We've already heard "Mazel Tov" with A$AP Ferg, and it wouldn't be surprising to see that song end up included -- at least, we certainly hope so.
