While never officially released as a single, A$AP Rocky's "Pretty Flacko" quickly became a favorite among the rapper's fans. When Rocky and producer Spaceghostpurrp had a falling out, it seemed the magic of Flacko may never be recreated, but a couple weeks back, Nez & Rio stepped up to give the rapper an equally menacing beat for "Pretty Flacko 2".
As usual, the song had a considerable Houston flavor to it, gliding by slowly with some squealing synth work. Toronto based production duo Gardiner Express have decided to rework the record, keeping most of the sounds intact, while injecting a bit more movement into the song. After providing some additional drum programming, the more club-ready mix makes its way back to Texas in the song's final minute, gradually slipping into some syrup-y chopped and screwed territory.
