Nike is one of those brands that always dares to experiment with new technology. Back in the 80s, they toyed with the idea of self-lacing shoes in Back To The Future and last decade, they sought to recreate the Air MAG that became so popular. In their efforts to do so, they realized that auto-lacing shoes aren't so far-fetched anymore and came through with some self-lacing models that have become very popular. The most recent of these models is the Nike Adapt Auto Max which is essentially a chunky auto-lacing Air Max.
After a couple of popular initial colorways, it seems as though Nike is ramping things up with a new Auto Max offering called "Anthracite." As you can see from the images below, the shoe has a black upper with dark teal on the midsole and back heel. It is a lowkey model that is fairly unassuming if you discount just how chunky the silhouette is.
If you're interested in this colorway or just want to check out new technology, you will be able to do so as of June 18th for $400 USD. It's a steep price but such is life when your shoes lace themselves.
