Over the last couple of months, we've seen hip hop invade a couple of Marvel comics covers, first with Rae Sremmurd making their way into Captain America, and then Birdman boolin' in the bondo with the Kingpin for Spider-Man. The latest collaboration between the iconic comic book company and a noteable hip hop act comes with Run The Jewels, who have scored placement on not one, but two covers.
While Killer Mike and El-P do not appear in cartoon form, their increasingly well-know symbol -- the fist and gun hands -- will be emblazoned on both Issue 45 of Deadpool and Issue Two of Howard the Duck.
While El apparently had no idea this was going down, Mike had more of an idea, but both were ecstatic when they saw the final product. "When it came all the way through, I was dancing around the room in my Polo underwear," Mike told Rolling Stone.
