Before he founded the We The Best Music Group in 2012, DJ Khaled was signed to eOne Music, where he released his first four records from 2006 to 2010. Now the music mogul is claiming that his former label has failed to pay him the royalties they had agreed upon, and is suing eOne for the difference, thought to be at least $1 million.
According to Billboard, Khaled filed a lawsuit alleging "breach of contract, accounting and unjust enrichment" against the label. The article cites "failure to properly account and pay record and mechanical royalties" as the main focus of the suit.
