On Christmas Day, Fabolous dropped The Young OG Project, his first album in over four years. The album was a commercial success, debuting at #12 on Billboard. Fabo intended the project to be an ode to 90s golden age hip-hop, including tributes to past legends, while featuring spots from today's rising stars like French Montana and Rich Homie Quan. Fabo sat down with us right before the release and shared his inspiration behind the album; watch the interview here.
Originally, the album was only released digitally, but it has been successful enough for Fab to go ahead and put it out physically. In true 90s fashion, the album will be available on tape, CD, and even vinyl. An official release date has not yet been set, so we'll keep you updated as to when the LP will hit stores.
Did you guys dig OG Project? Enough to cop the physical product?
