We're all waiting patiently for any information about J. Cole's new album The Fall Off, which is rumored for a release later this year. Without much to go off of, Dreamville fanatics have been re-visiting the North Carolina emcee's older releases, including the more recent Revenge of the Dreamers 3 tape. The GRAMMY-nominated project is still racking up heavy streams and, as a result, J. Cole just welcomed home a ton of new platinum and gold plaques.
As reported by Complex, the latest RIAA update shows J. Cole celebrating a bunch of new achievements for some of his songs.
"More plaques please," wrote the rapper's manager Ibrahim "Ib" Hamad on Twitter, reacting to the new platinum plaque for "Under The Sun," a collaboration with Lute and DaBaby. Ib's wish was granted shortly after with a bunch of other accomplishments piling up for his main man Cole.
Among the new platinum plaques are "Under The Sun," "Immortal," and "Neighbors." Even more of his tracks were certified gold this week. Those include the following: "4 Your Eyez Only," "She's Mine Pt. 1," "Foldin' Clothes," "Ville Mentality," "She's Mine Pt. 2," "Change," and "For Whom The Bell Tolls."
Congratulations to J. Cole on padding up his mansion with even more decorative plaques!
