There are tens of millions of people who have been affected in some way by this COVID-19 pandemic and quarantine. As the "Safer At Home" orders seem to be coming to an end, politicians are trying to figure out how the world will return to everyday living, and interactions, while also doing their best to exercise proper precautions. As people have taken to social media to create memes, jokes, and videos about how bored they are at home, inmates reportedly haven't been given proper care while behind bars. E-40 is doing his part to help them.
The Bay Area rapper has reached out to two California prisons and according to The Blast, E-40 has donated 1,000 gallons of hand sanitizer. He made the announcement on Instagram by sharing a video that shows how he partnered with a company in Missouri to make and package the product. "E-40 donates 1,000 gallons of hand sanitizer to Lompoc & San Quentin State Prison," the hip hop mogul wrote in the caption to the clip.
It's reported that E-40 decided to make the move to donate hand sanitizer after learning that there were 900 COVID-19 cases at the Lompoc Facility. This is is just another way that E-40 is giving back; the rapper is known for his many charitable works. Check out his video below.
