Late last week, we heard that Big K.R.I.T.'s newly-released album Cadillactica was on pace to sell 35,000 to 40,000 copies in its first week, which isn't bad in 2014. Well, the official numbers are in now, and Krizzle's surpassed those expectations by a hair. He moved 42,302 units, beating his Live From The Underground sales by just over 1,000 copies.
HDD reports that K.R.I.T. lands at number 5 on the albums chart with those numbers, nestling himself in between Garth Brooks at number four and (shockingly) the NOW 52 compilation at number 6. The next hip-hop album on the list is T.I.'s Paperwork, which only clocks in at number 36, so Krizzle should be very proud.
