BADBADNOTGOOD is a jazz trio of young guys who met in 2010 while attending Humber Music College in Toronto, Ontario. Matthew Tavares, Alexander Sowinski, and Chester Hansen uploaded to YouTube their version of an Odd Future song "The Odd Future Sessions Part 1" and it went viral thanks to help of Tyler, The Creator (who became a fan after hearing the track). Since then they've collabed with Tyler, The Creator as well as Frank Ocean.
Kaytranada is a producer and DJ based in Montreal. He's been producing since he was 14 and has released a whoppin' 13 projects and 16 remixes including tracks by Janet Jackson, Missy Elliot, and Erykah Badu.
Kaytranada's version of "Kaleidoscope" by BBNG is as smooth as ever and laid back, with a hint of mystery. It's a cruise control jam that feels like you're on I-95 and headed to Miami, the kind of instrumental you can vibe out too with no need for lyrics.
