Say what you will about DMX's criminal history, but the man has proven time-and-time-again that he's always willing to help those close to him. According to reports, the Ruff Ryder has taken money out of his personal bank account to save his ex-wife's home from foreclosure. Tashera Simmons, the ex, shares the home with their four children.
The mortgage went unpaid for nearly four years, adding up to a grand total of $258,927.87. Legal documents filed in Westchester County, NY were posted by The Jasmine Brand, which reports that DMX paid the mortgage in full.
The home’s price was $649,000 when DMX bought it in 2000 prior to his prison sentence.
On the music front, DMX is reportedly in the studio with longtime collaborator Swizz Beatz as well as araabMuzik, working on the follow-up to 2012's Undisputed. Stay tuned as we continue to cover the rollout for the release.
