Tech N9ne found himself amid mainstream rap stars today on Forbes' annual Hip-Hop Cash Kings list. The decidedly underground rapper pops up on their list at #16, earning $8 million. Considering how much this guy tours, it's kind of unsurprising. With that being said, here goes a slew of new tour dates from the Strange Music head.
This time though, he's kicking things up a notch, by taking a "band of psychos" on tour with him. By "band of psychos," the rapper is referring to a live band, whom he'll perform with on the road for the very first time in his career.
Tech N9ne is no stranger when it comes to dabbling with rock music, and so perhaps it was only a matter of time before he started touring with a live band. "I've always had rock inspiration and influence in my music," Tech N9ne says in today's press release. "Whether it was 'Riotmaker,' 'Little Pills,' 'Straight Out The Gate' with Serj Tankian, putting a band together and hitting the road just felt like it was always inevitable. This is a chance to augment my show and go super hard on stage with some incredible musicians I really look up to. My fans are going to have a blast!"
This is already Tech's third tour of 2014, and he says he's got another one planned for spring 2015. He's literally always working. Peep the upcoming "Band of Psychos" tour dates below.
