A Japan-exclusive Air Jordan 1 from 2001 is coming back to the market.

Jordan Brand has been as strong as ever over the past few years and a large part of their success comes from the almighty Air Jordan 1. This model was conceived all the way back in 1985 and it was Michael Jordan's first-ever signature shoe. Since then, there have been dozens of colorways to make it to the market, and sneakerheads seem to love every single one. Next month, Jumpman is planning on bringing back a colorway that proved to be a popular Japanese exclusive all the way back in 2001. Of course, we are talking about the Air Jordan 1 "Metallic Silver."

Thanks to @zsneakerheadz, we now have some more detailed images to share and it's clear that this sneaker is pretty gorgeous. There are multiple shades of silver throughout and there is a sort of sparkle to it that makes it unique compared to other Air Jordan 1s we have seen over the years. This could easily wind up being amongst the most popular drops of the year, as long as people wise up to the significance of the shoe's history.

As for the release date, you can expect them to come out on July 25th of this year for $170 USD. Let us know in the comments below whether or not you plan on copping.
