The internet got excited when Big Sean confirmed that the long-awaited collaboration with Eminem was finally happening. In a recent interview he kept it brief, just saying that a "somethin'" would arrive sooner or later. Now, in another interview with Angie Martinez over at Power 105.1, the G.O.O.D. rapper explains a bit more on his studio session with Eminem, and says that the song will likely not land on his upcoming album.
"We just were kicking it for awhile, he was like 'you're killing it, I like your new stuff.' I'm pretty sure I'm not gunna have an Eminem feature on my album. We have something that we working on- I just wanna make sure I say that so people aren't like, 'yes! The Eminem feature is on his album.' But it's something that was being worked on, that's all I'ma say, I dunno what it's for...Yeah they called me up, I was exhausted but I had to come go up in there," Big Sean explained to Angie Martinez.
However, when it comes to feature he does have on his album (which he says in this same interview should arrive in time to use as stocking stuffers, aka December), Sean confirms one with his girlfriend Ariana Grande. "She's on a song on my album. It's a real song. It's something fresh. I feel like she hasn't really done anything like...It's kinda more my element," he said of the record.
Big Sean also confirmed features from Chris Brown and Kanye West will be on the new album, "the one we got in there is crazy, produced by Key Wane," he said referring to Breezy. "We got 'Ye on there obviously."
