Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is reportedly now the third-most backed choice for president after his impassioned "Where are You?" speech to Trump.

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson may just be elected the new president of the United States come November, after his impassioned "Where are You?" speech to Trump regarding the nationwide protests against police brutality appears to have put the pro-wrestler-turned-actor on the American people's presidential radar. According to a report by Newsweek, The Rock is now the third highest choice for a presidential win, behind Donald Trump and Joe Biden.

Newsweek reports that odds aggregator site OddsChecker has calculated that 3.34% of all 2020 election bets have been placed on The Rock, following his powerful speech in support of Black Lives Matter, in which he called out Trump for his lack of leadership skills.

"Where are you?" he asked the president. "Our country is crippled and on its knees, begging to be heard and pleading for change. Where is our compassionate leader? The leader who unifies and inspires our country at our most painful time when we need it the most. The leader who steps up and takes full accountability for our country and embraces every color in it. The leader who picks our country up off its knees and says you have my word - we got this - and together, change will happen."

"Where are you? Because we’re all here," he continued. "Maybe one day that galvanizing leader will emerge. Either way, the process to change has already begun." Many regarded the speech as presidential itself, which explains the sudden surge in his White House odds. However, bookmakers have him priced at +40,000, meaning he only has 0.2 percent chance of winning.

Okay, so he's almost definitely not going to become president, but the fact that he's even being considered by some folks is bizarre and shocking enough. But hey, if a billionaire game show host can become president, why not The Rock? (Please don't vote for The Rock).
