Prior to the release of Kehlani's new album It Was Good Until It Wasn't, it was revealed that she had consulted with one of the biggest music stars in the world to come up with the title.
Working with Drake, Kehlani settled upon the official title for her new album, which is being celebrated across social media platforms. People are excited about the singer's progression as an artist, claiming that this is one of her most complete bodies of work yet. Drake even congratulated her on the release, also taking time to address the story that he assisted her with the title.
Posting one of the headlines to Instagram Stories, Drake said:
"Nah why is this the headline tho," wrote Drake. For context, the headline used was "Kehlani Explains How Drake Helped Her Name Upcoming Album."
He continued:
"Anyways your album is incredibke the headline should be 'Kehlani drops a life soundtrack' congrats @kehlani @boi1da BLESSINGS!!"
Clearly, Drake isn't interested in taking credit for this. He would rather play it coy and be humble rather than steal another artist's moment in the spotlight, which is honestly commendable.
