Mass Appeal's first release, a compilation album featuring the likes of Boldy James, Bishop Nehru and Fashawn, will drop on September 2nd, according to Nas.

Back in May, we announced that Nas' new Mass Appeal record label imprint would be releasing a compilation featuring the label's first signees. A few months later, a picture of the label is a bit clearer with the knowledge of Boldy James, Bishop Nehru and Fashawn's signing, and now we have a release date for the compilation.

Volume one of an annual series of comps will drop on September 2nd (the same day as Jeezy's Seen It All) and will feature Nas alongside all three current Mass Appeal signees.

According to HipHopDX, the comp will feature a cover of Gang Starr's "Mass Appeal" (the magazine/record label's namesake) by "Nas and friends of the brand." Watch their report on the news below.
