Cam Newton was having a pretty great start to his career back in the 2010s but over the last few years, he has had quite a few injuries that have taken him away from the field. As a result, the Carolina Panthers decided to release him and now, he is a free agent. Unfortunately, Newton can't really sign with anyone as any prospective team would require an in-person physical. Of course, this is impossible right now due to travel restrictions.
Yesterday, we reported on how Newton would probably have to wait until the season starts before signing as he would probably end up replacing an injured starter. Now, Sportsline has unveiled the betting odds for Newton's free agency landing spot and there shouldn't be any surprises here.

The team with the best odds of landing Newton are the Jacksonville Jaguars at +250 while the Patriots are second at +300. From there, we have the Washington Redskins in third and the Denver Broncos and Seattle Seahawks in fourth and fifth, respectively.
Options like the Seahawks and Broncos make the least amount of sense as they both have starting quarterbacks and Newton is adamant about not being a backup. Meanwhile, the Jaguars are willing to make Gardner Minshew the face of their franchise so at this point, the market is scarce for Newton.
