A leak from Drake's upcoming album "Views From The 6" arrives.

Over the weekend Drake popped up in our news feed when we found out about Drizzy's desire to do some battle rap, specifically, he told Murda Mook he'd like to battle him. According to Mook, it was in all seriousness. While that remains to be seen, more evidence of Drake's affinity for battle rap surfaced when the title track off his highly anticipated album Views From The 6 leaked onto these interwebs.

How is battle rap connected with "Views From The 6", you ask? Well, as it turns out, Canadian battle rapper E-Batt is featured on this early leak, although he's denied leaking the record himself. He took to Twitter to say, "For the record I DID NOT leak VFT6. I was given an opportunity to record a verse on an early version. In the midst of that someone got ahold."

By the sounds of it, the title track "Views From the 6" picks up where Nothing Was The Same left off. It's unclear how complete, if it all, this leak is, but it's definitely not too low-fi, and clocks in at 3 minutes. Drake flows over familiar territory, as he raps about an ex-lover: "What made us wanna act like we were married for two weeks?/ Now we’re back in California, we don’t even speak, that’s a no-no/ Everyone says we look good on paper, you deserve that action/Plus you get more paper than I do, that shit attractive/ Things that make me miss you, where Jen and Melissa?"

VIBE Magazine has got their hands on the leak. Go listen and share your thoughts on the comments.
