George Floyd's son Quincy Mason Floyd joins a peaceful demonstration and speaks out against violent riots happening across the country.

We have seen physical property get destroyed as people take to the streets and fight back against racial injustice. After the senseless death of George Floyd, a 46-year-old Minneapolis man, the country is tired of racial inequality and is doing something about it.

There have been several protests in Minneapolis, as well as other cities in the United States, and George Floyd's son spoke out at one of them, denouncing the violent displays that have been going viral on social media.

"I'm really excited about all this. Everyone is coming out and showing him love. I love this. My heart is really touched by all this," said Quincy Mason Floyd, Floyd's son, after attending a peaceful protest in Texas. "Tearing up things, it's not going to solve anything. My dad is in peace, and we have to be the ones to deal with all this stress. It's going to be tough to get over this day by day."

Floyd was not close with his father and he initially did not recognize him in the video. His mother was the one who informed him that his dad was the man in the clip.

"I didn't recognize who it was until Mom called and told me. She said, 'Do you know who that guy was?' I said no. She said, 'That's your father.' I was in tears. It's been a long time since I've seen him," he said.
