It's been over a year since rising Chicago native Jahzel dropped off In God's Image. After serving up several leaks along the way, including "Faithful," the rapper finally returns today with his full mixtape The Wake Up. For those unfamiliar with Jahzel, he was born and raised as a Jehovah's Witness, and thus had quite a unique experience growing up in the Chi. His home life was very much sheltered while the life that existed outside was much tougher-- and he didn't really fit in anywhere-- "the adversity is what molds me," he says.
