Rick Ross and 50 Cent have been beefing since the late 2000s although things went a little too far when Ross' ex-girlfriend's sex tape was leaked. At the time, 50 Cent was accused of leaking the tape and even had to pay Lastonia Leviston $7 million back in 2016 after being found liable. Over the past few months, the legal battle between Ross and 50 has been ongoing as the latter is countersuing Reed Smith for not properly deposing Ross during the original trial. In fact, 50 claims Ross is the one who really leaked the tape.
According to new court documents courtesy of AllHipHop, Ross is now speaking out about 50's tactics, noting that he has had enough with the petty antics. In these documents, Ross claims his innocence and his desire to be done with this saga, once and for all.

"For years, I have been engaged in what many people in our industry call a ''rap war" or ''beef"' with another Hip-Hop artist, Curtis Jackson, who is professionally known as "50 Cent," Ross wrote. "Although I have no ill will towards Curtis personally, I believe he truly dislikes me. [...] "To be clear, I never did post the video (or any excerpts of it) on DeeperthanRap.com or on any other website. I never authorized anyone else to post the video or any excerpts of it on DeeperthanRap.com or on any other website on my behalf. In fact, I never even had possession of the video."
In addition to these court documents, Reed Smith has applied to have 50's malpractice suit thrown out. The judge has yet to make a decision.
