Not even a full 24 hours ago, we received some new Lucky Daye music when the burgeoning r'n'b singer dropped a "Roll Some Mo" remix on us, thanks to Chronixx and MediSun. The original song appeared on his 2019 album Painted, and it remains his biggest record to date. Still, at the same time that the artist is pushing "Roll Some Mo" to reach new fans, he's also giving his day-one fans a brand new jam.
His new collaboration features an OG Babyface, who's had a renewed interest thanks to the VERZUZ IG Live Battle series he participated in against Teddy Riley-- as we reported, the legendary r'n'b singer's stream went on to double after the event. Now, he's tapping in to the younger gen on this extra dope baby-making anthem that we've already added to our R&B SEASON playlist.
The collaboration reflects on a relationship turning sour, as Lucky Daye laments a girl that he thought he could trust, only to find out she's been lying the whole time. The song comes with some fresh, painted artwork too.
Quotable Lyrics
I believed your lies
Thought your heart was true
But where was your heart last night
When I needed you?
