Smokepurpp had originally told us that he was all set to release his new album Florida Jit on June 5 but, because of the civic unrest in America, he pushed back its arrival indefinitely. We aren't expecting to wait too long before the eventual arrival of FJ, which has officially earned its latest single.
Teaming up with his longtime friend and producer Ronny J, Smokepurpp returns to a formula that worked to break him into stardom. "Pop Shit" is the latest track to drop from the upcoming project, transporting us back to the SoundCloud days with its chaotic structure and distorted elements. The song is short, spanning just over a minute-and-a-half but it stands in line with the type of material Purpp has been offering as of late.
