With everything happening in the world right now, many artists and labels decided to postpone their upcoming releases. As we navigate through this period of social and political unrest, Ronny J realizes that music is not the most important thing in his life right now. Half-black and half-Italian, the producer thought long and hard about keeping his release calendar intact before deciding that he would go through with dropping the first single from his upcoming album, considering music to be a healthy form of distraction and escape.
With that said, "Miami" kicks off the train as we roll ahead to Jupiter, the new album from Ronny J. Usually, the producer takes a backseat in the credits and, although we all know what his beats sound like by now, he's taking over in the driver's position.
"Miami" is a banger, featuring Argentinian rapper Duki and Italian rapper Sfera Ebbasta. The Latin trap beat has touches of Ronny's signature sound, especially with the distorted bass and 808s. He even manages to throw in some bars of his own.
Listen to the new single and stay tuned for Jupiter, which is set to arrive this summer.
Quotable Lyrics:
Baby, I could fly you in Miami
Mansion in Key Largo so fancy
Baby, let's go deep on a jetski
Take you all around, you're so sexy
I dropped a hunnit on you, I'm romantic
The way your body move it got me racing
You can take your time, I'm patient
Money ain't a thing, let me taste it
