Last night, Styles P came through and dropped off his brand new album Styles David: Ghost Your Enthusiasm, complete with appearances from both of his fellow LOX groupmates. And while Jadakiss' spoken word offering "Corona Kiss" is much appreciated, there's something undeniable about hearing Sheek Louch and Pinero trading bars over some grimy production. With nightmarish pianos looping over boom-bap drums, P kicks things off with a typically badass opening verse, once again solidifying his position as a voice of the streets.
"Yeah the day ones, they be on that bullshit too / keep it A1, they can get a full clip too," he warns. "It be day two, you just trying to pull shit through / you don't like what I'm saying but you know shit true." That sort of gravitas isn't given, but rather earned. It's because of this that Styles has been able to remain consistent for nearly twenty-five years in the rap game, a career older than some of today's rising rappers. Be sure to show some love to one of the realest voices in the game, and go stream that Styles David album right here.

Yeah the day ones, they be on that bullshit too
Keep it A1, they can get a full clip too
It be day two, you just trying to pull shit through
You don't like what I'm saying but you know shit true.
