Toronto's Smiley, who's received heavy support from Drake and the OVO camp, releases his new tape.

Toronto's a budding place for talent, as it has been, but in the past decade, it reaches has grown beyond Canada. The world has their eyes on Toronto's rap scene right now due to a few factors, but let's not lie and say Drake hasn't played a role in that. The OVO camp is the most notable label in the 6ix, along with XO, with artists like PartyNextDoor and dvsn rattling the music industry.

The latest star to emerge out of Toronto is Smiley who's been getting major praise from Drake over the years, even performing at the last OVO Fest. This week, he released his new project YYZ-LAX. Though he's released a few projects in the past, YYZ-LAX has been described as his "debut mix" by Apple Music and surely, is a better glimpse at what he has to offer.
