Hass Irv makes his HNHH debut.

Harlem, N.Y. has been a hotbed for hip hop success stories over the years, producing an endless array of superstars like the ASAP Mob, Sheck Wes, Dave East, Smoke DZA and many more. Lucky for us, there’s a new name on the block: Hass Irv. After signing a recent deal with Asylum Records, he is ready to storm the industry. Dropping consecutive hits for the past few months such as, “Case Closed” and “Smooth Operator,” Hass delivered to us his most recent record “All Day” along with a vibrant music video that screams New York. Visually bold, and perfectly complementing the catchy hook and brilliant switch-ups of the song’s flow, Hass and about 50 of his friends can be seen dancing and rapping on subway cars, taking over entire NYC sidewalk blocks, and nimbly climbing over scaffolding. It has so much energy and pop that it’s impossible to watch and listen to this without jumping out of your seat to join in the dance.

The Harlem native has gotten his share of industry credibility over the past year or so with appearances on the 1800 playlist, curated by Pusha-T, an opening performance for Young Thug, and even a track with superstar Rich The Kid. Based on Hass’s swaggy streetwear style flaunted on his instagram feed and in his music videos -- he embraces a style of his own -- it’s clear that he’s no slouch in the fashion department. In fact, reselling sneakers and designer clothes was how he started gaining traction and helped launch his music career.

Hass is cool. And it’s the kind of cool that blends an impressive image, creativity, and lyricism in his music, giving him a certain it factor and putting him in the perfect spot right now to explode. The music industry should be excited to see what’s on Hass Irv’s docket for 2020 and beyond. He might just be one of the more interesting artists to follow over the next few years.

Quotable Lyrics

They talkin’ bout poles, these n****s ain’t got no aim
They smoking on reds, these n****s ain’t got no strains
Go hard in the paint like Kobe without no rings
He went to the hood, he left it without no chain
I’m in the booth all day
I been sitting in the coupe all day
