Last week, TDE signee Reason linked up with TDE OG (when it comes to the label) ScHoolboy Q, for a hard-hitting collaboration, "Pop Shit." Reason has been one of the most active Top Dawg artists as of late, even with the string of releases from Zacari, Ab-Soul and others, Reason appears to be dropping the most often. This particular release followed up "Might Not Make It" a few weeks prior, and each new song is fueling fans' speculation that the rapper will soon be releasing a full body of work.
In the meantime, we've received a brand new visual for the ScHoolboy Q collaboration. Directed by Jon Primo, the visual matches the dark vibe of the song. What starts out looking innocently-enough as a good ol' listening session, is soon overtaken by a gang of masked individuals-- while it appears to be Reason's listening session, it also appears to be Reason leading the gang, thus exposing a dichotomy. Reason and co. don menacing red-lit masks, as they monopolize the event and twist it into something sinister. Later, ScHoolboy Q shows up with an assault rifle and proceeds to rap surrounding by the ensuing chaos.
Take a look at the fresh visuals and stay tuned for more updates on whatever it is Reason is prepping.
