Under Armour and Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry have another special edition sneaker in the works for International Women's Day, following up the "United We Win" Curry 6 that dropped a year ago. That colorway was co-designed by nine-year old Riley Morrison, who had penned a letter to Curry regarding the lack of girl's sizes in his signature shoe, and it looks like the Curry 7 pulls some inspiration from that commemorative colorway.
This time around, Steph and Under Armour also teamed up with actress Storm Reid to inspire young girls under the hoop, behind the camera and in the classroom.

Similar to the aforementioned Curry 6, the "Bamazing" Curry 7 (inspired by Storm Reid's 'Bamazing' initiative) sports a combination of purple tones throughout the upper. The kicks also come equipped with decorative insoles bearing positive affirmations "B Amazing" and "Humble."
"I am continuing my commitment to providing a platform to empower young women in partnership with my team at Under Armour," said Curry. "We will deliver the Curry 7 Bamazing colorway for International Women's Day 2020, which Storm [Reid] helped to inspire, adding her own design touches to the sockliner with Bamazing branding and words of encouragement such as Btrue and Bbrave. Best of all, this Curry 7 colorway celebrates young women who inspire and supports their dreams through higher education scholarships."
In further celebration of International Women's Day, Steph and Ayesha’s foundation (Eat.Learn.Play.), along with UA, will award $30,000 scholarships to four deserving young women from Oakland at Saturday’s home game. Look for the UA Curry 7 IWD (priced at $140) to hit retailers this Sunday, March 8th in celebration of International Women's Day.
