Hit-Boy has been gradually adding tracks to his four-part album, The Chauncey Hollis Project, three-at-a-time, but on Friday (May 1st), he officially wrapped up the series with three final songs, including a Dom-Kennedy-featured joint. Back in November last year, the veteran producer dropped a 3-track collection of songs titled The Chauncey Hollis Project, and for all we knew, it would stand alone for the rest of time. However, Hit-Boy proceeded to add to the pack in 3-track spurts, the latest addition occurring in January. While we may have thought that the third instalment would serve as the final one, the hit-maker returned for the month of May with another three songs to cap off the album.
Included in this trio are the Dom-Kennedy-assisted "Nominated," along with two solo tracks, "Pass The Rock" and "Levitating," on which Hit-Boy stands alone. He decided to share a snippet of "Nominated" in an Instagram post on Friday.
“I started this album and decided as I record and feel the music I would release 3 songs at a time into the same playlist,” he wrote in the caption. “4th and final installment of The Chauncey Hollis project out now !” Check out the full tracklist below and stream The Chauncey Hollis Project in its final form.
