Things have been looking up for Pressa. Though he's already gained the praise of Toronto heavyweights over the course of his career, he's finally bringing Jane & Finch to the world, especially now that he's been acquitted of previous charges that were weighing heavily on his shoulders.
Over the past few months, the recent releases coming from Press have shown growth and maturity as an artist. Today's release, "96 Freestyle," is another step to refining his sound. His syrupy vocals touch the bassy production handled by Bluxz. Though it runs for less than two minutes, Pressa gets a lot off of his chest as he reflects on the past and anticipates his future moves.

Quotable Lyrics
Just a young lil n***a from the 6ix
I was born in '96 and everybody know that Pressa with the shit
Write his name on a bullet and we knock him off a list
I told crodie if they get me, the hood cry like Nip
