Detroit rapper 42 Dugg is seriously on the way up. Thanks to a joint signing to Yo Gotti's CMG and Lil Baby's 4PF, the young star-in-the-making has the blueprint to success in the music business. Earlier today, Lil Baby released the new video for "We Paid," his latest track with Dugg, and now we're shining a spotlight on the rapper's latest solo video.
"Hard Times" is a stand-out from 42 Dugg's recent project Young And Turnt 2. Although it was released before corona became a big thing, it is insanely relevant now, reminding us all that hard times are not permanent.
The video starts off by showing news reports of Dugg's recent March arrest on federal gun charges. It continues with scenes of the rapper cooling out around the city, hitting different landmarks and just having a good time.
