Lil Tjay and Jay Critch teamed up for a banger that will play well to those living in New York.

Lil Tjay has been making a name for himself over the past couple of years and hip-hop fans in New York have been taking notice. His melodic brand of hip-hop is extremely popular right now, and his lyrics resonate with those who are embedded in a specific lifestyle. Proclamations of being the "King of New York" aside, Tjay is releasing dope music and his latest project State of Emergency is an example of his potential.

One of the standouts from the EP is "City On My Back" which features a melodic feature from none other than Jay Critch. In this song, the two artists speak on their relationship to New York and how they are trying to put the city on the map. Of course, New York is still very much on the map but in today's music landscape, there is still some ground to be made.

Quotable Lyrics:

They on my dick like give it back
Opp in the spliff, I'm getting smacked
And I need me a fact
'Cause I don't remember last time n**** sat down, took a nap
