Nav's Good Intentions finally dropped today, following a brief hiatus from the XO-signed rapper, who was teasing his retirement from the game at the time. Alas, he couldn't stay away. He's back and he's got a lot of high-profile friends with him, all over Good Intentions. We already highlighted Nav's collaboration with Future, "My Business," but there are a lot more to choose from-- including this posthumous collab with late New York rapper Pop Smoke. As it were, Lil Tjay also has a posthumous Pop Smoke collab on his album too, "Zoo York."
Good Intentions has not one, but two collabs with Young Thug, as well as appearances from Gunna (x2, too), Travis Scott, Lil Uzi Vert, Don Toliver and Lil Durk (who dropped his own album today).
"Run It Up" features Pop Smoke's deep vocals harmonizing at the outset before Nav begins to rap at a fervent pace. As the song title might indicate, it's strictly about wealth and the recklessness that can sometimes go along with having such immense luxury.
Rest in Peace Pop. Take a listen.
Quotable Lyrics
Me and NAV in the Bugatti
Movin' too hotty
'Cause we came from the bottom
Now we solvin' all our problems
Crib got five stories, yeah, I live like a king
Thirty-five carats the ring 'cause
Diamond cuts on my necklace
