At the top of the new year, Khalid delivered a brand new, '90s-tinged single for the fans titled "Eleven." The singer has dropped off a handful more records since then, including two collaborations with Disclosure, as Khalid dabbles into light electronic territory-- which is true on "Eleven" as well, actually.
Today, after a long round of teasing and taunting, the singer finally returns to "Eleven" with an official remix and re-purposing of the song with Summer Walker. It's worth noting, this is not labeled as "remix" on Spotify, and thus perhaps this version will become the "official" single version. The two even linked up to shoot a visual for it, we've seen images circulating Instagram showing the two gathered around some neon cars, as if readying for a race-- the full music video debuts this afternoon, so check back for that.
In the meantime, you can add these r'n'b vibes to your playlist, or perhaps better, follow our R&B SEASON playlist for all the r'n'b vibes you need, in one place.
Let us know if you're digging Summer's vocals on this remix. Summer recently shared some unreleased music of her own on IG, and teased an EP would arrive when the world is out from under quarantine lockdown (hopefully).
Quotable Lyrics
Lost track of time
If I'm on waiting on love I'll be waiting all night
I can't get this high from no one else and I'm
Tryna to let you go but it's hard
- Summer Walker
