The fans showed up for Miseducation and instead the were educated. That's the story of the recent Lauryn Hill concert portrayed in the video below.
Beginning her 10:30pm set at 11:20pm, Hill was quickly called out by a disappointed fan and proceeded to lecture said attendee on respect. "If a little patience is too much, it's alright, you can go," said the former Fugee before having the fan removed by security.
"I don't play that," Hill tells the audience. "I don't need to win you over. You don't need to win me over. You can go and you can get all your money right back. I do this because I love it, not because I owe you anything. You understand that? You can get on your blogs and you can tweet. You can say whatever you want to. I don't give a rat's ass."
TMZ reports that overall reception of the show was negative. The video provided for their use came from an attendee who called Hill's performance "rushed and sloppy" and recalled seeing a large group of fans asking for refunds.
