Joey Fatts is fresh off the release of his new mixtape Chipper Jones Vol. 3, but that's not stopping him from talking about his next project.
In a new interview with Billboard, the rising Long Beach rapper revealed that he will be releasing a joint project with producer 9th Wonder in “the next year”, aka 2015. While there’s little known about the upcoming collab, Joey did take some time out to talk about the producer 9th Wonder, and how he looks up to him. Joey says,
“9th gives me good life lessons as a man. He's someone I look up to, as an established African American man. He's not looking for all the light. He just loves music and enjoys being able to provide; that's why I like working with 9th.”
The newly-announced 36BrickHouse member also talked about his decision to join Waka Flocka’s imprint. He tells Billboard,
"I signed with Brick and Waka because it is all about loyalty, and they believe in my craft. Waka said to me, "One day you're going to be the reason I retire, because you're that good." They believe in my ability."
