HNHH's "Underrated Audio" puts you on not-too-mainstream music you might have missed from the past week.

Underrated Audio aims to provide you with some dope looks from the last seven days, that flew under most peoples' radars. While they may have received front-page placement on HNHH, they didn't get as many views as they deserve, so we shine a little more light on them right here.

For this week's selection of slept-on audio, we look to two females native to Chicago, both of whom are on their respective come-ups, Tink and Dreezy. We've also got Jet Life's Young Roddy, who, one might say has been on a continual come-up for years now (not to throw shade, it appears he likes to be underground), and more.

Scroll through and let us know your jams.

Tink- M.E.N. (Prod. By DJ Dahi)

Underrated Audio: May 24- May 30

Tink was once again tapped by the ‘songs from scratch’ series put together by Yours Truly and adidas, and she was once again connected with underrated producer DJ Dahi. Tink and DJ Dahi teamed up with Kelela for “Want It” back in April, and the next ‘songs from scratch’ release is just as strong despite no Kelela. Tink displays soft vocals, but as she is warrant to do, also lays down bars. DJ Dahi’s production is smooth, as it fades in and out creating a feeling of waves washing over the beat. He soon introduces piano keys, while Tink sings about being unable to connect with someone despite wanting too.

Dreezy- No Good Feat. Common & Ross Augusta

Underrated Audio: May 24- May 30

Another Chicago native (like Tink), Dreezy, received her first post on HNHH this past week when she dropped the Common & Ross Augusta-featured single “No Good.” A quick listen to other output from Dreezy shows she’s got some skills on the mic, she’s got flow, and she’s got the looks to match. While she’s climbing up from the underground right now, we doubt it’ll take her much time.

Jimmy Johnson- Northside

Underrated Audio: May 24- May 30

Jimmy Johnson, Drake’s latest OVO affiliate who hails from, you guessed it, Toronto, dropped off a freebie this week. “Northside” reps his hometown to the fullest while slurring his words together. It’s a bit harder than some of the past music we’ve received from Jimmy, with a trap-inspired beat that also sounds like it’s got Middle Eastern influences. Plus the cowbell. Needs more cowbell?

Young Roddy- Legal Tender Feat. Trademark Da Skydiver

Underrated Audio: May 24- May 30

Jet Life buddies Roddy and Trademark teamed up for a free joint inspired by dolla bills, “Legal Tender.” The cut has a soulful touch thanks to a sample, while each rapper spits about getting cake. It’s sort of works as a motivational record, encouraging you to get some “dolla dolla dolla dollas.” Then again, if you’re smoking while you listen like any good Jet Life fan, you may feel a lack of motivation.
