This week's search for a remix had us stumbling upon this Chi Duly version of everyone's latest jam stuck on repeat, "Club Goin' Up On A Tuesday," by ILoveMakonnen (most likely the Drake-remixed version).
Chi Duly is a producer and DJ based in New York, NY. His remixes and originals are fresh, and the way he uses catchy melodic phrases is reminiscent a little of DJ Mustard, but Duly's tracks are more electro.
Chi's remix of "Club Goin' Up On A Tuesday" starts off with electronic synthesized layers and four on the floor. By the second hook the mix is trapped out with hi-hats and multiple tuned snares, which for the remainder of the track phase in and out.
