Martin Scorsese returns to organized crime in a big way with his first ever Netflix movie, The Irishman. The the three and a half hour film is playing at the New York Film Festival this week, and so a new trailer has surfaced online to promote it.
Starring Robert De Niro, Al Pacino & Joe Pesci, the film chronicles one of the greatest unsolved mysteries in American history, the disappearance of legendary union boss Jimmy Hoffa, and offers a monumental journey through the hidden corridors of organized crime. It’s described as being told “through the eyes of World War II veteran Frank Sheeran, a hustler and hitman who worked alongside some of the most notorious figures of the 20th century.”
In addition to De Niro, Pacino, & Pesci, the film will also star Ray Romano, Harvey Keitel, Anna Paquin and Bobby Cannavale.
