Dame Dash has been calling out plenty of industry figures over the last couple months, including Lyor Cohen and Funkmaster Flex. It seems his tirade is not quite complete, as a new interview with Shade 45 found him targeting none other than forrmer Roc-A-Fella signee, Kanye West.
The bone Dame had to pick with Kanye was over the recently incarcerated co-founder of the Roc label, Kareem “Biggs” Burke. According to Dash, Kanye has yet to reach out to Biggs since he was locked up for conspiring to distribute large amounts of marijuana.
"I’m a little tight with Kanye cause he hasn’t reached out to Biggs. I don’t like that shit. So, Kanye, holler at me. I don’t like that," he said.
The Roc-A-Fella mogul suggested that Biggs was actually the one who believed in Kanye the most. “It’s terrible…Biggs was the one that really was like ‘Yo Dame, pay attention to what Kanye’s doing. Make sure you send him that music,’” he explained. “You know what I mean? So, it’s just not—No one’s reaching back. And I just—Certain niggas have. And that’s why I’m not calling everybody up, but Kanye hasn’t.”
