Gucci has not had the best publicity as of late. It first started when the Italian luxury fashion house released a collection that resembled blackface leading many to boycott the label while some even burned their belongings. Dapper Dan offered his services by joining the brand and helping them avert their crisis but recently the brand did it again when they sold an "indy" turban for upwards of $700.

It's safe to say a handful of recognized acts have decided to no longer affiliate themselves with Gucci as a whole, but Lil Uzi Vert isn't one of them. The "That's A Rack" rapper shared an image of himself on Instagram just last night that shows him flexing a purple Gucci vest.

Uzi may very well have the same mindset as famed model Naomi Campbell, who clapped back at those shaking their heads at Gucci.

“I think it’s ridiculous for people to say they were burning their [Gucci] clothes. Don’t burn your clothes. It wasn’t intentional,” Naomi said.

“On a positive note, there’s a silver lining,” she added, of Dapper Dan's Changemakers scholarship. “In a lot of countries, football was a way of getting out. Now those interested in fashion and creativity have a way.”
